Overall this is an excellent clock. Large display is easy to read and the remote is a nice touch that lets you set/reset without having to remove the clock from the wall. The colon can be set to flash or turned off completely. There are 10 display brightness settings, and you can set it to adjust automatically according to ambient lighting in the room, or you can turn off the display completely if the lowest brightness is still too bright (like at night when you want the room dark; clock will retain the time settings in the memory). The only con I have with this model is that the Day (D) and Month (M) digits are reversed. The Month should be displayed before the day as most people in the U.S. use the MM/DD/YYYY format. Otherwise, I would have given this clock 5 stars. I think a better design would be to make the temperature display smaller and shift it to the far left on the lower have of the display so that it lines up at the left edge of the clock. This would leave enough room to display each month throughout the year using a three-letter abbreviation (e.g., Jan, Feb, Mar, etc.). The months could be displayed at the bottom in two columns of six each, or in 3 columns with 4 rows, or in 4 columns with 3 rows to list all 12 months. The lower right edge of the clock could display the two-digit date. So, when Apr 15th rolls around it would display as "Apr 15". This would be much less confusing and easier to read. I hope the clock maker reads this review.

We installed tonight! It was easy and so far seems to be working well! Had a similar one some time ago! Did not include other words, we may do it later 👍😃
